Committees

Church Leadership

Serving as a member of Christ Lutheran’s church leadership can entail serving as a council member in any of the areas that currently exist within that group. The council is made up of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and liaisons from the following committees: Education, Evangelism, Fellowship, Property, Stewardship, Welfare and Social Concerns, Youth and Family, and Worship and Music. We also have a recording secretary who does not participate in voting.

Education Committee

The Education Committee is responsible for the Christian Education of all CLC members. This includes adult education, children’s Sunday school, Bible studies, Children’s Church, Little Lambs, the Christmas Program, and Vacation Bible School.

Evangelism Committee

Jesus calls all of us to bring the “Good News” to others. The Evangelism Committee is charged with the responsibility of helping this congregation and its individual disciples go about the task of sharing the love of Christ.

Fellowship Committee

Our relationship with God through Jesus is the basis of our salvation. It is in relationship with others individually and in community – that we experience the love of God. The Fellowship Committee is about the task of facilitating the building of relationships within the congregation.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee offers guidance to the church council on maintaining sound financial practices in order to fulfill the missions of the congregation.

Property Committee

The Property Committee is responsible for the evaluation, management, and maintenance of the CLC physical plant and its utilization so that the work of the various ministries within Christ Lutheran Church can be effectively carried out.
