Personal Care Pantry
Contact Person: Tammy Davison
Personal Care Pantry is an amazing ministry that is held once a month to supply thirty families who are less fortunate, with basic items such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc. These essential items that are provided are not available through government programs, so unless families have enough money left over in their budgets it is a struggle for them to buy these items. What we take for granted is not so easy for them.
Christ Lutheran Church sets up the products in a manner that is as much like a shopping experience as possible to allow the families to select their products. Along with this we provide a meal that allows the families to sit down together.
We at Christ Lutheran believe that through this one ministry of many we strengthen the Wyoming community through building connections, and fostering health and wellness by making available basic hygienic products, while promoting respect and self-value for the families.
In our giving we as a congregation are rewarded with the opportunity to experience something bigger than ourselves.
